Digitally growing up
DIGITAL MATURITY -
ON THE WAY TO A NEW PHASE OF YOR BUSINESS
"Growing up is done by trial and error, learning from failure is crucial."
Digital maturity can be measured
Digital maturity can be measured. By means of a targeted survey you can accurately and quickly understand the phase in which a company finds itself. Does the company have a clear vision on where it (digitally) is going? Is the operational backbone of the company largely digitized? To what extent are customer insights embedded in the company and how are employees dealing with it? Are there clear owners – responsible – for the various digital components. A survey not only indicates the phase of an enterprise, but also makes clear what the most relevant and urgent initiatives are for a specific company. Scanning digital maturity is perfect as a first exploration of the digital potential of your company.
4 areas to develop
Digital speed is evaluated on four axes. Under the heading of culture and mindset (CUMI) we track the digital ambition: its feasibility, clarity – how well is it shared? Under organization and ‘connectedness’ (ORCO), we look at how strong the transformative character of the organization is, whether there is clear ownership and to what extent networks are operational and produce results. In the field of tech and development (TEDE), questions are asked about fluid budgeting, agile collaboration, design thinking, business ownership, specific available digital knowledge… Finally, there is the metrics and (processing of) customer insights (MEIN). The analysis of the 4 axes results in a qualitative snapshot and degree of maturity. Next to the degree of digital maturity it indicates potential and suggests priority initiatives.
